At one faery workshop a slender young girl arrived, who was quiet and shy and said that she didn’t know why she was there, but just knew she had to be. After the first visualisation meditation we did, to commune with the faery kingdom, she just burst into tears. She told the group that she had always felt different, as though she didn’t belong and only felt happy when she was out in nature.
I explained to her that there are many people on this planet who have been faeries, in other lifetimes, that have incarnated now into human form. These brave faeries have volunteered to become human, in this life time, to help clean up the planet and to bring us back into commune with nature. When we are born we go through a veil of amnesia and therefore forget, on a conscious level, who we really are. Only on a deep cellular level, do we know and that is why many incarnated faeries’ feel that they are different, without realising why. They wonder why they get so angry at animals being mistreated, when plants and crops are poisoned by chemicals and the total disregard for the planet in general.
As soon as the young faerie delegate related to this, it all made perfect sense to her. The relief and the joy of realising who she really was and why she felt so different, was wonderful to see.
